Higher Education
George Washington University | Washington D.C.
Our services included master planning and interior design to renovate and modernize foodservice venues across three buildings.
Campus Eats with a Modern Twist
Our team was thrilled to be a part of the campus-wide initiative to modernize and renovate all foodservice venues at George Washington University across two campuses. With a focus on branding each large dining hall to represent a different district in the DC area, we created micro-restaurants within each venue that offer an engaging and experiential atmosphere. We designed a variety of seating for intimate or large groups to encourage collaboration and a sense of community.
out with the old, in with the new
As part of our master planning and interior design services at George Washington University, we renovated the dining services in three buildings: Thurston Hall, Shenkman, and District House. At Thurston Hall, we created a new servery and dining space, while at Shenkman, we designed a foodhall and teaching kitchen. In addition, we modernized the interior of District House. Each venue now features unique and modern designs, creating a new type of foodservice experience for the GWU community.
Functionality With Style
Our interior design team worked closely with George Washington University to modernize and rebrand each foodservice venue. Each space reflects our team's commitment to creating spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We are proud to have been a part of this project, which has revitalized and transformed the dining experience for students and faculty at George Washington University.
